New epoxide and cyanate ester resins with an aromatic ester backbone namely 1,3-[di-(4-glycidyloxy diphenyl-2,2′-propane)]-isophthalate (DGDPI) and 1,4-[di-(4-cyanato diphenyl-2,2′-propane)]-terephthalate (DCDPT) were synthesized and the intermediates were characterized by IR, 1H-/13C-NMR spectroscopic methods. The cured products from DGDPI and DHDPI exhibited higher Tg compared with standard epoxy system. The increase in the Tg may be due to the cyanate ester and rigid aromatic backbones present in the curing system. 相似文献

Here, we report a methodology where a single amino acid, glycine, enables metal-free protein purification. This robust platform is enabled by a Gly-tag resin for site-specific capture, enrichment, and release through chemically triggered C–C bond dissociation by resonance-assisted electron density polarization.Gly-tag resin precisely captures and releases a protein with one glycine at the N-terminus. Novel polybenzimidazoles containing thiaxanthone heterocyclic units were synthesised from 2,7-thiaxanthonedicarboxylic acid-5,5′-dioxide and 2,8-thiaxanthonedicarboxylic acid-5,5′-dioxide and two aromatic tetramine hydrochlorides by PPA solution polycondensation in 60–70% yield. Two model compounds, 2,7-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)thiaxanthone-5,5′-dioxide and 2,8-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)thiaxanthone-5,5′-dioxide, were prepared and characterized by spectral methods. The polybenzimidazoles have inherent viscosities in the range 1.13–1.50 dL/g and decomposition temperatures of 495–560°C. The effect of thiaxanthone units on polymer properties are discussed. 相似文献

Novel complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Pd(II) with the new ligand [N,N'-bis(2-carboxy-1-oxo-phenelenyl)ethylenediamine] (H2L) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, thermal, infrared, electronic, 1H NMR and EPR spectral studies. Infrared and 1H NMR spectra show that H2L acts as a binegative tetradentate ligand. Coordination occurs through deprotonated carboxylate oxygens and nondeprotonated amido nitrogens in all the complexes. Electronic spectral studies and magnetic moment values suggest N2O2 coordination around each metal centre with strong field square planar chromophores. The probable structures of the complexes have been assigned on the basis of spectral studies. The complex formation between M(II) [M(II) = Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II)] and (L2-) has also been studied potentiometrically in 75% aqueous DMF at 25 degrees C in 0.1 M NaClO4. The stability constants were found to follow the order: Mn(II) < Co(II) < Ni(II) < Cu(II) > Zn(II). 相似文献

NMR spectroscopy has become a vital tool for studies of protein conformational changes and dynamics. Oxidized Fe(III)cytochromes c are a particularly attractive target for NMR analysis because their paramagnetism (S = (1)/(2)) leads to high (1)H chemical shift dispersion, even for unfolded or otherwise disordered states. In addition, analysis of shifts induced by the hyperfine interaction reveals details of the structure of the heme and its ligands for native and nonnative protein conformational states. The use of NMR spectroscopy to investigate the folding and dynamics of paramagnetic cytochromes c is reviewed here. Studies of nonnative conformations formed by denaturation and by anomalous in vivo maturation (heme attachment) are facilitated by the paramagnetic, low-spin nature of native and nonnative forms of cytochromes c. Investigation of the dynamics of folded cytochromes c also are aided by their paramagnetism. As an example of this analysis, the expression in Escherichia coli of cytochrome c(552) from Nitrosomonas europaea is reported here, along with analysis of its unusual heme hyperfine shifts. The results are suggestive of heme axial methionine fluxion in N. europaea ferricytochrome c(552). The application of NMR spectroscopy to investigate paramagnetic cytochrome c folding and dynamics has advanced our understanding of the structure and dynamics of both native and nonnative states of heme proteins. 相似文献

Bubble point temperatures at 95.5 kPa, over the entire composition range, are measured for the binary mixtures formed by m-cresol with: methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, and n-, iso-, sec-, and tert-butanols - using a Swietoslawski-type ebulliometer.
